My chemical Romance was an Instant hit. The band formed in 2001 and released their debut album the same year 'i brought you my bullets your brougt me your love' and ended the band with their last album 'Danger Days:the true lives of the fabulous Killjoys' in 2013. ‘Honey, This Mirror Isn’t Big Enough for the Two of Us’ was MCR's first hit song . But the song that really put MCR on chart was Helena. Helena was a tribute song for the deceased grandmother of the lead singer Gerard Way and bassist Mikey Way. The album Three cheers for sweet revenge strarts off with 'Helena' and follows the story line of a couple who has a tragic accident . where the girl dies and the boy gooes out looking for revenge. MCR's most popular song ' Welcome to The Black Parade' is part of the concept album 'the black parade'. The album follows the life of a cancer patient who starts accepting his death which leads him to join the black parade. THe black parade was heavily influenced by Queen's style music; Rock opera . The Danger Days album was MCR's final album . Danger Days another concept album is about a evil company,BlI Industries,that takes over Battery city . And a rebel group is protecting a messiah of some sort that the company sees as a threat that must be disposed. |
